Velvet

Characteristics

Velvet is a repeatedly washable superior quality anti- carbonation paint based on special acrylic copolymers for application on both exterior and interior old and new surfaces, and on all types of dry walls such as plaster concrete, building boards, brick, wall paper and previously painted surfaces. Velvet is prepared to resist mould, fungal and algal growth.
It is applicable by brush roller or spray-gun which dries to a beautiful and attractive rich satin sheen finish.

Pre-treatment

One of the most important conditions to ensure a satisfactory result is that the surface to be painted is clean, dry and compact without loose material such as efflorescence which must be removed prior to painting.

For priming and all coats thin up to 50% with clean, fresh water according to absorption. Some substrates need to dilute up to 75% to achieve normal working consistency.

Velvet dries to touch within 1 hour at 25 degrees centigrade and can be recoated under normal condition in 2-3 hours.
