New

Characteristics

New is a washable poly vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion paint specially formulated to be applied over interior old and new surfaces. It can also be used for exterior surfaces. It is easy to apply by brush, roller, or spray-gun, does not saponify and produces a hard wearing mat finish.

New can be used on all types of dry walls such as plaster, concrete, building boards, brick, wall paper and previously painted surfaces.

Pre-treatment

To ensure a satisfactory result it is important that the surface to be painted should be clean, dry and compact without loose material such as efflorescence, which must be removed prior to painting.

For priming thin up to 50% with clean, fresh water according to absorption. For subsequent coats dilute up to 75% to achieve normal working consistency.

New dries to touch within 1 hour at 25 degrees centigrade and can be recoated under normal conditions in 2-3 hours.

Covering capacity

Approximately between 12-16 square meters /liter depending on the substrate with 30 microns film thickness.

Specific gravity

Approximately 1.4, depending on the shade.

New emulsion paint is available in the following pack:

– 1US gallons.

– 22 kg /pail.

Storage

Should be stored in a cool place away from freezing and not subject to extremes of heat or placed in direct sunlight.
